2018 Calendar Image Submission

In addition to submitting your astrophotography, this year we are also asking for any historical images that we may use as we celebrate the Rose City Astronomers club's 30th anniversary.

Please submit your image in a format and size suitable for the printer.

The deadline is Sunday, October 1st, at 6pm.

The requirements are below.

In addition, information for the caption is required. In particular, it would be good to have:

your Name(s),

Target Name or Description,

Location Taken,

and Date Taken.

A valid email address is required so that we can contact you to get the full resolution version for printing, or if we have any questions.
The calendar picture space is 11" x 8.5" (i.e. letter size landscape format). All pictures require a "bleed area" of 3/16" all around; each image is printed larger than the final page and then cut down to size, and the bleed area allows for cutting/printing registration inaccuracy. The required resolution is 300dpi. Putting that all together, images are required to be 3413 x 2663 pixels. TIFF format is preferable, PNG, PSD and JPG are also valid file types for upload.
Files must be less than 32 MB.
Allowed file types: jpg tif png gif psd.
Please describe your image. Include any information that you can about the image or it's capture settings. Where and when it were taken are also suggested information.
